MAKE THE VEHICLE FEEL NEW AGAIN
A New Color Without A Permanent Repaint.
Vinyl wrapping gives you the freedom to change the personality of your vehicle without committing to a permanent paint color. Go subtle with a factory-inspired finish, make a statement with a bold color, or change just the roof, trim, mirrors or other accents.
The material matters—but the final appearance depends heavily on preparation, alignment, stretch, edge finishing and how carefully the installer works around trim, sensors, handles, curves and body lines.

THE IW DIFFERENCE
Installation Is Everything.

VINYL WRAP OR COLOR PPF?
Choose The Product For The Result You Want.
Vinyl Wrap
Best for short-term styling, custom designs and unique colors—especially on garaged vehicles that are not exposed to strong daytime sun for long periods.
- Typical service life: approximately 2–5 years depending on UV exposure, storage and care
- Excellent for unique colors, custom graphics and temporary projects
- Great choice for business promotions, events and short-term branding
- Primarily a styling film—not designed as long-term rock-chip protection
Color Paint Protection Film
Best when you want a color change with a longer-term film specifically designed to protect the paint underneath.

WRAP CARE
Keep The Finish Looking Its Best.
Vinyl is a short-to-medium-term styling product. Depending on UV exposure, storage and care, a vehicle wrap may last approximately 2–5 years. Garaged vehicles that spend less time in direct daytime sun generally give vinyl the best environment for maintaining its appearance and removability.
VINYL WRAP FAQ
Questions Customers Actually Ask.
Every vehicle and project is different. These are the questions we hear most often before a wrap appointment.
How long does a full vinyl wrap take?
Timing depends on vehicle size, body complexity, paint condition, disassembly requirements and the film being installed. A full vehicle color change generally requires multiple days rather than a same-day installation.
Will vinyl wrap damage my factory paint?
Vinyl is commonly installed over healthy factory paint and is intended to be removable. However, leaving vinyl on beyond its useful service life—especially after heavy UV exposure or visible film failure—can make removal more difficult and may increase the risk to compromised paint, failing clear coat or previous repaint work. This is one reason we recommend treating vinyl as a shorter-term styling product and removing or replacing it before the material deteriorates.
Can you wrap a leased vehicle?
Many leased vehicles are wrapped because the color change is removable. The vehicle should still be inspected before installation, and the customer remains responsible for the terms of their lease.
Can door jambs be wrapped?
Door jambs and other hidden painted areas may be available as additional work depending on the vehicle and desired level of transformation. They require substantially more labor than exterior panel coverage.
Can you wrap over scratches or dents?
Vinyl follows the surface underneath it. Deep scratches, dents, failing paint and texture can remain visible through the film. We will identify areas that should be repaired or corrected before wrapping.
How long does vinyl wrap last?
As a practical guideline, vinyl wrap can last approximately 2–5 years depending on the film, UV exposure, storage, washing habits and vehicle use. Vehicles that are garaged and spend less time sitting in direct daytime sun are generally better candidates for longer-lasting vinyl. Horizontal panels typically receive the most UV and environmental exposure.
Is vinyl wrap the same as Color PPF?
No. Vinyl is primarily a styling product and is a great choice for unique colors, custom designs, garaged vehicles, business promotions, event vehicles and other shorter-term projects. Color PPF is a thicker protective film designed for longer-term use and to help protect the paint underneath from chips, scratches and road wear.
When is vinyl wrap the best choice?
Vinyl is an excellent option for garaged vehicles, unique colors, custom graphics, seasonal looks, business promotions, event vehicles and other projects where the goal is a temporary or shorter-term visual transformation rather than long-term paint protection.
Can you wrap only the roof, hood or trim?
Yes. Partial wraps are a popular way to personalize a vehicle without completing a full color change.
