Chrome trim can dominate the appearance of a modern vehicle. A professionally installed chrome delete visually lowers the vehicle, cleans up the body lines and gives the exterior a more cohesive, performance-inspired look.
The goal is not to make the vehicle look “wrapped.” The goal is to make the dark trim look like it belonged there from the factory.

Chrome Delete FAQ
Every vehicle is a little different. These are the questions we answer most often before a blackout project.
Is chrome delete permanent?
No. Vinyl-based chrome delete is generally reversible and does not require repainting factory trim. Removal should still be performed carefully and condition can vary by trim material and age.
How long does chrome delete last?
Service life depends on the material, exposure, maintenance and the specific trim piece. We will recommend the appropriate film and care routine for your vehicle.
Can every chrome piece be wrapped?
No. Extremely tight shapes, porous materials, heavily textured plastic, sensors, rubber trim and certain complex emblems may require a different approach. We inspect the vehicle before committing to coverage.
Will you remove trim from the vehicle?
Only when appropriate and beneficial. Some pieces are best wrapped in place, while select removable components may produce a cleaner result when safely accessed off the vehicle.
Can I match factory gloss-black trim?
Gloss black is the most common choice and can closely complement factory piano-black or Shadowline-style trim, although exact texture and gloss can vary between original parts and film.
Can chrome delete be done with window tint at the same appointment?
Yes. Chrome delete and window tint are commonly paired because both contribute to the same cleaner, darker exterior appearance.
Can you black out badges and emblems too?
Depending on the badge shape, we may wrap, overlay, replace or recommend another finishing method. Complex lettering may not be ideal for traditional wrap film.
How long does the installation take?
Timing depends on the vehicle and amount of trim being covered. A simple partial delete can be much faster than a full blackout package with badges, roof rails and additional styling work.
