Automotive Window Tint · La Verne, California
KEEP THE HEAT OUT.
DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
Good window tint should do more than make the glass darker. It should improve comfort, reject heat, maintain clear visibility and look professionally installed for years. At IW Motorsports, film quality and installation quality work together.
CHEAP TINT CAN GET EXPENSIVE FAST
DON’T LET A LOW PRICE TURN INTO TWO TINT JOBS.
A cheap tint job can look like a bargain on day one and become an expensive do-over later. Low-performing film or rushed installation can leave you with bubbling, peeling, color change, trapped contamination, weak heat rejection—or a cabin that still feels hot.
When that happens, the first price is no longer the real price—you may be paying for removal, adhesive cleanup and a second installation. We make it easier to get it right from the start: choose the performance level you want, then let an experienced installation team handle the fit and finish.
Looks Dark. Performs Cheap.
- Film chosen mainly by price
- May provide limited heat performance

Installation Is Everything
GOOD FILM STILL NEEDS
A GOOD INSTALLER.
Tint installation is precision work. Clean glass, controlled heat forming, careful handling and edge placement all affect the finished appearance. The goal is film that looks like it belongs on the vehicle—not film that calls attention to itself.
Veteran Installation Team
Our team includes installers with up to 15 years of hands-on experience working with complex automotive glass, frameless windows, curved rear glass, EVs and luxury vehicles.
Experience shows in the finished edge, clarity and fit.Dedicated Tint Environment
Installation takes place inside a specialized facility designed to reduce contamination and support professional film work.
Glass Preparation
Glass is cleaned and prepared before film is installed. Existing contamination, stickers or old film can require additional preparation.
Precision Heat Forming
Curved glass requires controlled shrinking and forming so the film conforms cleanly without excessive tension or distortion.
Clean Edge Finishing
We focus on consistent edge gaps, clean borders and a finished appearance that complements the vehicle.
Final Inspection + Aftercare
The completed install is reviewed and you receive curing and aftercare guidance before leaving the studio.

Window Film Is Protection, Not Just Styling
PROTECT THE PEOPLE
RIDING WITH YOU.
For parents, window film can be a practical protection upgrade even if you do not want a darker-looking vehicle. UV exposure is cumulative, and UVA can pass through vehicle side glass depending on the type of glazing. A darker factory privacy window also does not automatically tell you how much UVA protection that glass provides.
That matters for the people who spend the most time sitting next to the glass—especially kids riding in the rear seats. Premium clear and light ceramic films can add strong UV protection and heat rejection while keeping the original factory appearance nearly unchanged.
Reduce Unnecessary UV Exposure
Selected premium films provide 99%+ UV rejection, creating another layer of protection between occupants and solar exposure through the glass.
Privacy Glass Isn’t The Whole Answer
Factory privacy glass is mainly about a darker appearance and privacy. UV performance varies by glass construction, so darkness alone should not be treated as proof of comprehensive UV protection.
Keep The Stock Look
Clear and very-light ceramic films let you add UV and heat protection without turning every window dark. The exterior look can stay subtle while cabin comfort changes dramatically.
Shade Is Not The Same As Performance
DARKER TINT DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY
MEAN BETTER HEAT REJECTION.
Shade controls how much visible light passes through the glass. Heat rejection is determined by the film’s construction and solar performance. A premium ceramic film can provide excellent heat rejection without forcing you into an extremely dark shade.
That is especially useful for windshields, EVs and customers who want a clean factory-style appearance without sacrificing cabin comfort.

Window Film Does More Than Make Glass Dark
CLEAR FILM.
REAL PERFORMANCE.
You do not have to black out the glass to get useful solar protection. Clear and very-light window films can preserve the factory appearance while adding heat control, UV protection and glare reduction.
That makes clear film especially useful when you want the cabin more comfortable without dramatically changing the way the vehicle looks.
Ask About Clear Film →Heat Control
Spectrally selective and ceramic films can reject infrared energy while still allowing a high level of visible light through the glass.
UV Protection
Premium automotive films can provide 99%+ UV rejection, adding meaningful occupant and interior protection without requiring dark glass.
Daytime Glare
Properly selected film can reduce harsh sunlight and glare, especially during sunrise, sunset and bright daytime driving.
Headlight Glare
Selected films can reduce discomfort from bright lights while maintaining clear outward visibility. We match film and shade to the glass and driving use.

Why Add Windshield Film?
THE BIGGEST PIECE OF GLASS
DOESN’T HAVE TO LOOK DARK.
The windshield is one of the largest pieces of glass surrounding the cabin. Clear and high-VLT ceramic films can reduce infrared heat and UV exposure while keeping the glass close to its original factory appearance. You can add real protection and comfort without making the windshield look heavily tinted.
- Clear and very-light film options available
- Heat rejection without a heavily tinted appearance
- 99%+ UV protection available with premium films
- Selected films can help reduce harsh sun and headlight glare
- Excellent comfort upgrade for EVs and large windshields
Tesla + EV Window Tint
MORE GLASS.
MORE REASON TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FILM.
EVs often use large glass areas, panoramic roof sections and expansive windshields. That makes film selection and installation technique especially important when cabin comfort is the priority.
- Tesla Model 3, Y, S, X and Cybertruck experience
- Carbon, standard ceramic and Ceramic IR options
- Windshield and roof-glass options where appropriate
- Frameless-door experience
- Package tint + PPF + ceramic coating in one visit

WHAT CUSTOMERS ACTUALLY ASK BEFORE TINTING.
Does factory privacy glass protect my family from UV?
Factory privacy glass makes the cabin look darker, but darkness alone does not tell you the glass’s UVA performance. Side and rear automotive glass can vary significantly in UV protection. Premium window film can add 99%+ UV rejection while clear and very-light options preserve a near-factory appearance.
Does darker window tint reject more heat?
Not necessarily. Darkness controls visible light transmission. Heat rejection depends on film construction and solar performance. A premium ceramic film can reject significantly more heat than a darker basic film while maintaining a lighter appearance.
Can window film help with glare from the sun or headlights?
Yes, selected automotive films are designed to reduce glare. The right shade can make bright daytime sun and headlight glare more comfortable, but darker is not always better—especially at night—so we match film shade and performance to the intended glass and driving conditions.
Will my window tint have bubbles?
Permanent bubbles are not the goal of a professional installation. During the curing period, temporary moisture pockets or light haze can be visible as installation solution evaporates. Those are different from long-term bubbling caused by film or adhesive failure.
Why is ceramic tint more expensive?
Ceramic films use more advanced film construction to provide stronger heat-management performance while maintaining signal-friendly, non-metallic characteristics and good optical clarity.
Which film should I choose: carbon, ceramic or Ceramic IR?
Carbon is the value-focused option for appearance, privacy and everyday comfort. Standard ceramic adds stronger heat rejection and ceramic-film benefits. Ceramic IR is the highest-performance tier when maximum infrared heat rejection and cabin comfort are the priority.
Can windshield film be clear?
Yes. Clear and high-VLT heat-rejection films are available, so a windshield comfort upgrade does not have to create a dark appearance. The goal can be heat, UV and glare control while keeping the vehicle looking close to factory.
Do you tint panoramic roofs and large EV roof glass?
Yes, roof and panoramic-glass options are available for many vehicles. The exact glass configuration matters, so we confirm the vehicle before quoting the roof section.
How long does window tint take to cure?
Cure time varies with film, weather, temperature and glass type. It is normal for freshly installed film to show temporary haze or moisture while it dries. We provide specific aftercare instructions at delivery.
Can you remove old bubbling or purple tint?
Yes. We can inspect existing film and quote removal. Removal difficulty varies based on adhesive condition, age, rear defroster lines and glass configuration.
Do you work on frameless windows and Teslas?
Yes. Our team has experience with frameless-door glass and Tesla platforms, including Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck.
Can I combine tint with PPF or ceramic coating?
Yes. Window tint, PPF, ceramic coating, caliper painting and other protection or styling services can be coordinated into one visit.
